TCM RAM malfunction

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Check Yes No
1 CHECK DTC. 
  1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode using the Subaru Select Monitor. < Ref. to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . >
  2. Read the DTC.
 Is DTC P0604 displayed? Replace the TCM. < Ref. to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) . > < Ref. to TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) . > Current condition is normal. Check for interference from noise, etc.
