Inspection steps
NOTE:
ON/OFF status when clutch control solenoid No. 1 (SL1) is normal (Select lever in D position)

- Check of transmission wire unit (clutch control solenoid No. 1 (SL1))
- Disconnect the connector L4 of the transmission wire.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS
Inspection terminals Inspection conditions Standard value L4-11 (SL1+) - L4-3 (SL1-) 20°C 5.0 to 5.6 Ω L4-11 (SL1+) - chassis ground Always 10 k Ωor more L4-3 (SL1-) - chassis ground Always 10 k Ωor more - Connect the connector L4 of the transmission wire.
NG: go to step 4.
OK: Go to next step.
- Check wiring harness and connector (transmission wire - transmission control computer ASSY)
- Disconnect the connector A18 of the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals. (For terminal arrangement, refer to
ECM terminal arrangement .)RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

NG: Repair or replacement of wiring harness and connector
OK: Go to next step.
- Replacement of transmission control computer ASSY
- Replace the transmission control computer ASSY. (Refer to Transmission control computer ASSY )
Next: AT unit correction (refer to Inspection for problems that do not normally occur )
- Check of clutch control solenoid No. 1(SL1) unit
- Check the clutch control solenoid No. 1 (SL1) unit. (Refer to Neutral start switch ASSY )
NG: Repair or replacement of transmission valve body ASSY (refer to Transmission valve body ASSY )
OK: Repair or replacement of transmission wire (refer to Transmission wire )
