Basic Diagnostic Procedure: Procedure

Step Check Yes No
1 PERFORM CUSTOMER INTERVIEW. 
Using the Check List for Interview, ask the customer the condition of how the trouble occurred.
Did you interview the customer? Go to step . Interview the customer. Ref. to CHECK , Check List for Interview.
2 CHECK LAN SYSTEM. 
Inspect LAN system. Ref. to PROCEDURE , Basic Diagnostic Procedure.
Is the check result OK? Go to step . Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for LAN system.
3 CHECK POWER SEAT MEMORY SYSTEM. 
Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read DTC of power seat memory system. Ref. to OPERATION , Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
Are any DTCs displayed? Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to LIST , List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). After the repair, Go to step . Go to step .
4 CHECK THE LIST OF TROUBLE SYMPTOMS. 
Check "TROUBLE SYMPTOM" for the power seat system. Ref. to TROUBLE SYMPTOM , INSPECTION, Power Seat System.
Does the symptom apply? Perform the diagnosis according to the inspection procedures. Currently, system is normal. The circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
5 PERFORM INSPECTION MODE. 
Perform the Inspection Mode. Ref. to INSPECTION MODE .
Are any DTCs displayed? Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to LIST , List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). Finish the diagnosis.
