DTC B2266: Drive Mode Select (ACN System Fail)

DTC detecting condition: 

Detected when the following conditions 1 and 2 are met:

  1. When the drive mode select function is used, the mode change request value of the cockpit control module does not match the response value from the air conditioner (ACN).
  2. Drive mode select has not failed.

Trouble symptom: 

The SI-DRIVE/Drive mode select function is not available.

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to  COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION  

  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY
    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
    3. Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

    Is DTC B2266 displayed? (Current code)

    Yes  : Go to  2.

    No  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE:

    In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. 

  2. CHECK A/C CONTROL SYSTEM  .

    Perform the basic diagnosis for A/C control system. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

    Is the check result OK?

    Yes  : Go to  3.

    No  : Follow the diagnosis instructions for A/C control system.

  3. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY
    2. Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
    3. Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

    Is DTC B2266 displayed? (Current code)

    Yes  : Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY

    No  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE:

    In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
