THE ERROR MESSAGE "The software install failed." WAS DISPLAYED

Error detection contents: 

After downloading the reprogramming file, the cockpit control module detected that self-installation has failed.

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to  COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION  

  1. CHECK DTC  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

    Are any DTCs displayed? (Current code)

    Yes  : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST 

    No  : Go to  2.

  2. INTERVIEW REGARDING THE SERVER STATUS DURING REPROGRAMMING  .

    Ask the customer if "No server response." was displayed on the monitor during reprogramming.

    Was "No server response." displayed?

    Yes  : When the user had a problem, there was a failure with FOTA server. When FOTA server returns to normal operation, perform reprogramming again.

    No  : Perform reprogramming again. If reprogramming cannot be performed,

    Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY
