DTC P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Circuit: Notes

DTC detecting condition:

Immediately at fault recognition

NOTE: After the faulty parts are repaired or replaced, perform the final check in Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DO)>Basic Diagnostic Procedure>PROCEDURE .

CHECK DTC OF VDC .
Read the DTC of VDC using the Subaru Select Monitor or a general scan tool.

Is DTC for VDC displayed? (Current malfunction)

Yes: Perform the diagnosis of corresponding DTC using "Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)". Ref. to BRAKE CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .

No: Repair the poor contact of ECM connector.
