DTC P2012: TGV Control Circuit Low Bank 2: Notes

DTC detecting condition: 

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (STI)>Clear Memory Mode>OPERATION , and inspection mode Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (STI)>Inspection Mode>PROCEDURE .

  1. CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND TUMBLE GENERATOR VALVE ASSEMBLY LH CONNECTOR  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    2. Disconnect the connector from ECM.
    3. Measure the voltage between ECM connector and chassis ground.

      Connector & terminal

      (B134) No. 23 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

      (B134) No. 24 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

    Is the voltage 5 V or more?

    Yes: Repair the short circuit to power in harness between ECM connector and tumble generator valve assembly LH connector.

    No: Replace the tumble generator valve assembly LH. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (STI)>Tumble Generator Valve Assembly .
