When The CROSSMEMBER COMPL Front Was Not Removed

  1. Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and install the clip to the oil pan upper.
    NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  2. Secure the oil level switch harness to the front engine oil cooler pipe with clip, and connect the connector.
  3. Install the engine mounting LH.

    Tightening torque: 

    35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)

  4. Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
  5. Remove the ST.
  6. Install the pitching stopper. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION MOUNTING SYSTEM>INSTALLATION>PITCHING STOPPER .
  7. Install the front drive shaft LH. Ref. to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>FRONT DRIVE SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the electric power steering gearbox, Ref. to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX>INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember COMPL front.
    CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.
    NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.

    Tightening torque: 

    90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66.4 ft-lb)

  10. Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
  11. Install the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
  13. Install the V-belt cover.

    Tightening torque: 

    7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)

  14. Fill engine oil. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DOTC)>ENGINE OIL>REPLACEMENT .
  15. Connect the battery ground terminal, Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  16. Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
  17. Set the panel COMPL front hood to the normal position, Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>STAY ASSEMBLY FRONT HOOD .
  18. Install the striker assembly front hood, Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ASSEMBLY .
