Engine Starting System & Charging System (2.5L): Generator: Assembly
- Install the IC regulator.
Tightening torque:
3.9 N.m (0.4 kgf-m, 2.9 ft-lb)
- Install the brush holder.NOTE: Using a correctly sized socket, install with the brush pressed in.
Tightening torque:
2 N.m (0.2 kgf-m, 1.5 ft-lb)
- Attach the rear cover.
- Install the terminal B.
Tightening torque:
8.9 N.m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.6 ft-lb)
- Install the cover on the terminal B mounting section.
- Manually turn the pulley to check that the rotor rotates smoothly.
