Oil Level Switch: Installation

Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and secure the harness with the clip.
NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.

Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Secure the harness with clip, and connect the connector.

Install the engine mounting LH.
Tightening torque:

35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
Remove the ST1 and ST2 from the engine unit.

Install the TCM. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)>INSTALLATION .
Install the front drive shaft LH. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>Front Drive Shaft>INSTALLATION .
Install the electric power steering gearbox. Refer to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>Electric Power Steering Gearbox>INSTALLATION .
Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember COMPL front.
CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.

NOTE: Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.

Tightening torque:

90 N.m (9.2 kgf-m, 66.4 ft-lb)

Install the front exhaust pipe. Refer to EXHAUST (H4DO)>Front Exhaust Pipe>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake boot. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Boot>INSTALLATION .
Install the air intake duct. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>Air Intake Duct>INSTALLATION .
Install the V-belt cover.
Tightening torque:

7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)
Fill engine oil. Refer to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>Engine Oil>REPLACEMENT .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Set the panel COMPL front hood to the normal position. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>STAY ASSEMBLY FRONT HOOD .
Install the striker assembly front hood. Refer to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>Front Hood>ASSEMBLY .
