EGR Pipe: Removal

  1. Remove the collector cover. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>COLLECTOR COVER>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the clip from the air intake boot, and loosen the clamp.

  3. Remove the air intake boot, and place it aside so that it does not interfere with the work.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to pull out the PCV hose.

  4. Remove the bolts securing the throttle body to the intake manifold assembly, and tilt the throttle body to the rear side of vehicle.

  5. Remove the bolts securing the EGR pipe to the intake manifold assembly and EGR control valve, and remove the EGR pipe.
