When Front CROSSMEMBER Has Not Been Removed

Install the oil level switch and the clip (A) to the oil pan upper.
NOTE:
- Use new O-rings.
- Apply a coat of engine oil to the O-rings.
Tightening torque:

6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

Install the engine mounting LH onto the engine.
Tightening torque:

35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)

Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.

Remove the cushioning material between pitching stopper bracket and transmission case cover. (CVT model)
Install the clip (B) to the pitching stopper bracket, and then install the air breather hose to the clip (B). (CVT model)
Install the bolt (A) which secures the transmission harness stay to the CVT. (CVT model)
Tightening torque:

16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

Lift up the vehicle. (CVT model)
Set the transmission jack to the transmission. (CVT model)
NOTE: Be careful that the support plate of transmission jack does not touch the transmission oil pan.
Remove the ST and install the rear crossmember. (CVT model)
ST 41099YC001 ST REAR MOUNT

Tightening torque:

T1: 18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

T2: 35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)

T3: 70 N.m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb)

Remove the transmission jack. (CVT model)
Lower the vehicle. (CVT model)
Install the pitching stopper.
Tightening torque:

T1: 50 N.m (5.1 kgf-m, 36.9 ft-lb)

T2: 58 N.m (5.9 kgf-m, 42.8 ft-lb)

Set the generator cord, and fix the generator cord to the fuel pipe protector using clip (C).
Install the generator cord to clip (B), and connect the connector (A) to A/C compressor.

Using clip (D), fix the generator cord to the generator cord stay, and connect the connector (B) and the terminal (C) to the generator.
Tightening torque:

15 N.m (1.5 kgf-m, 11.1 ft-lb)
Connect the connector (A) to the brake vacuum pump.

Install the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (W/O STI)>INTERCOOLER>INSTALLATION .
Lift up the vehicle.
Install the electric power steering gearbox. Refer to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>ELECTRIC POWER STEERING GEARBOX>INSTALLATION .
Install the front drive shaft LH. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT SYSTEM>FRONT DRIVE SHAFT>INSTALLATION .
Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the front crossmember.
NOTE:
- Use a new nut.
- Make sure that locators (a) of the engine mounting are securely inserted.
Tightening torque:

60 N.m (6.1 kgf-m, 44.3 ft-lb)

Connect the connector of oil level switch to the engine wiring harness, and install the clip (A) securing the harness.

Install the front exhaust pipe. Refer to EXHAUST(W/O STI)>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
Insert the engine control module (ECM) to the bracket.

Install the bolt which secures the engine control module (ECM) to the bracket, and then secure the engine wiring harness and bulkhead harness to the bracket with clip (A) and clip (B).
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Install the air intake duct. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (W/O STI)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION .
Refill the engine oil. Refer to LUBRICATION(W/O STI)>ENGINE OIL>REPLACEMENT .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>BATTERY .
Install the collector cover. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (W/O STI)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
Fill engine coolant. Refer to COOLING(W/O STI)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
Set the front hood to the normal position. Refer to NOTE>NOTE>FRONT HOOD GAS STAY .
Install the striker - front hood. Refer to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>FRONT HOOD>ASSEMBLY .
Close the front hood.
