Headlight Assembly: Removal

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
Do not perform work with wet hands, because there is a possibility of electrical shock.

Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL
Remove the clips, and remove the cover UPR front.

Remove the bumper face front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT BUMPER>REMOVAL
Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the energy absorber plate UPR.

Remove the clip, and remove the cover fender UPR.

Remove the access buzzer. (When the light assembly head on the left side is removed) Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>ACCESS BUZZER>REMOVAL
Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the bracket corner front.

Remove the clip of the washer tank hose. (When the light assembly head on the left side is removed)
NOTE:
In order to make it easier to access the light assembly head connector, place the washer tank hose aside so that it does not interfere with work.

Remove the light assembly head.

CAUTION:

Be careful not to damage the headlight assembly and the fender COMPL front.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the light assembly head.
