DTC detecting condition:

Immediately at fault recognition

Trouble symptom:

Charge warning light illuminates.

NOTE: After the faulty parts are repaired or replaced, perform the final check in Basic Diagnostic Procedure. Ref. to ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS) (H4DOTC)>Basic Diagnostic Procedure>PROCEDURE .

CHECK V-BELT .
Check the V-belt. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>V-belt>INSPECTION .

Is the V-belt broken?

Yes : Replace the V-belt. Ref. to MECHANICAL (H4DOTC)>V-BELT .

No : Replace the generator. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>GENERATOR .
