Diagnostic Method 2

Detect the malfunction by calculating the average amplitude of λ.

Judge as NG when the following conditions are established.

JUDGMENT VALUE SPECIFICATION SPECIFICATION

Malfunction Criteria	Threshold Value
Average value for λ amplitude	More than 0.075

Time needed for diagnosis: 90 s

Malfunction indicator light illumination: Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cycles.
