Central Gateway Control Module: Installation

CAUTION:
  • When the central gateway control module has been replaced, be sure to perform the module registration.
  • When the control module related to immobilizer has been replaced, be sure to perform the registration of immobilizer system. (Model without keyless access with push button start)
    • Except for C0 model, refer to "Type G" described in "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER".
    • For C0 model, refer to "Type I" described in "REGISTRATION MANUAL FOR IMMOBILIZER".
  1. Connect the connector and install the central gateway control module.

    Tightening torque: 

    1.8 N.m (0.2 kgf-m, 1.3 ft-lb)

  2. Install the panel center UPR or the driver monitoring unit assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT>INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the grille speaker assembly CTR. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>FRONT SPEAKER>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>INSTALLATION>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  6. When the central gateway control module has been replaced, perform the module registration. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION OPERATION .
