Vehicle Setting Function (Customizing Screen) Cannot Be Operated

Probable cause:

Communication error with the related systems

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CONDITION .
Check the ignition switch condition.

Is the ignition switch ON?

Yes: Go to 2.

No: Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check again.
CHECK SYMPTOMS .
Check the symptom when the switch is operated.

Does the display remain unchanged? (Does the screen freeze?)

Yes: Perform the diagnosis for "The screen freezes and does not accept any operation entry". Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>INSPECTION>THE SCREEN FREEZES AND DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY OPERATION ENTRY .

No: Go to 3.
CHECK SYMPTOMS .
Check the symptom when the switch is operated.

Does the screen display change temporarily with the settings unchanged?

Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the corresponding system.

No: The system has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
