Port Injection Side: RH

CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to spill fuel.
  • Catch the fuel from the pipes using a container or cloth.
  1. Release the fuel pressure. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL>PROCEDURE>RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the fuel pipe protector RH No. 2. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR>REMOVAL>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR RH>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR RH NO. 2 .
  4. Disconnect the connector from fuel injector and remove the clip (A).

  5. Disconnect the fuel delivery pipe (A). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>REMOVAL>QUICK CONNECTOR DISCONNECTION (TYPE B) .
  6. Remove the fuel pipe RH together with the fuel injector.

  7. Remove the fuel injector.
    CAUTION:
    • If the tip of the fuel injector is hit or the fuel injector is dropped, replace the fuel injector with a new part.
    • When the fuel injector is reinstalled again without replacing it, identify it with a tag etc. marked with the cylinder number.

  8. Remove the O-ring (A), rubber (B) and seal ring (C).

  9. Remove the pulsation damper.
NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.
