Engine Wiring Harness: Installation

  1. Install the engine wiring harness stay.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Set the engine wiring harness to the engine, and connect each connector. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>ENGINE WIRING HARNESS .
    NOTE:
    • When the clip shown in the figure is removed, replace it with a new part.

    • Before replacing the clip, put an alignment mark (a) on both engine wiring harness and clip to remove the clip, and then align to the alignment mark (a) to attach a new clip to the engine wiring harness.

  3. Install the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the air intake boot. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO)>AIR INTAKE BOOT>INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
