Fuel Filler Pipe: Installation

NOTE: For the installation procedure of fuel filler lid, refer to "Fuel Lid". Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>FUEL LID>INSTALLATION .

Open the fuel filler lid.
Insert the fuel filler pipe into the ring clip from inside of the rear fender.
Install the nut securing the fuel filler pipe.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Install the bolt securing the fuel filler pipe.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Connect the drain tube (C), circulate tube (B) and fuel filler hose (A).
Drain tube:

Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE G) .

Circulate tube:

Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>QUICK CONNECTOR CONNECTION (TYPE D) .

Fuel filler hose:

Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL DELIVERY AND EVAPORATION LINES>INSTALLATION>FUEL FILLER HOSE CONNECTION .

Install the mud guard rear RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>MUD GUARD>INSTALLATION .
Install the rear suspension assembly. Ref. to REAR SUSPENSION>SUB FRAME>INSTALLATION .
Install the fuel filler pipe protector.
Install the fuel filler cap, and close the fuel filler lid.
