Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Suzuki XL7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: The molded encapsulation surrounding the quarter window is made using PVC plastic materials. Use a specific PVC primer application prior to applying the urethane adhesive bead to the window.
  1. Install the quarter window into the opening. Refer to ADHESIVE INSTALLATION OF ENCAPSULATED STATIONARY WINDOWS .
  2. Install the rear quarter front applique. Refer to REAR DOOR FRAME APPLIQUE REPLACEMENT .
  3. Install the inside garnish molding.
  4. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  5. Close the liftgate.
