Removal & Installation

1) Ensure engine is cool before removing O2 sensor. Disconnect negative battery cable and O2 sensor connector.

2) On Sidekick, remove exhaust manifold upper cover. On all models, remove O2 sensor from manifold. To install O2 sensor, coat threads with anti-seize compound. Torque O2 sensor to 33-40 ft. lbs. (45-54 N.m). Connect negative battery cable. On Sidekick, install exhaust manifold upper cover.
