Set/Coast, ACCEL/Resume & Cancel Switch Circuit Check

  1. Turn ignition off. With CC ECU connector disconnected, check continuity between ground and CC ECU terminal No. 2 (3-speed A/T and M/T) or terminal No. 12 (4-speed A/T). With ACCEL/RESUME switch in ON position, continuity should exist. SeeFigure or Figure .
  2. Check continuity between ground and CC ECU terminal No. 3 (3-speed A/T and M/T) or terminal No. 13 (4-speed A/T). With SET/COAST switch in ON position, continuity should exist.
  3. Check continuity between ground and CC ECU terminal No. 9 (3-speed A/T and M/T) or terminal No. 1 (4-speed A/T). With CANCEL switch in ON position, continuity should exist.
  4. If continuity does not exist in any switch position, check wires and connectors of related circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair faulty wires or connectors as necessary. If wires and connectors are okay, check switch function. See SET/COAST, ACCEL/RESUME & CANCEL SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTING.
