Electronic Control Module (ECM)

NOTE: For terminal ID see PIN VOLTAGE CHART S article.

ECM is located under left side of dash. On TBI models, ECM power is sent from the EFI main relay to ECM terminals B1 and B7. ECM back-up power is received from fuse box 15-amp fuse No. 3 at ECM terminal B9.

On MFI models, ECM power is sent from the EFI main relay to ECM terminals A12 and A13. ECM back-up power is received from fuse box 15-amp fuse No. 3 at ECM terminal A1.

NOTE: Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category is INPUT DEVICES, which are components that control or produce voltage signals monitored by the control unit. The second category is OUTPUT SIGNALS  , which are components controlled by ECM.
