Circuit Testing: Notes

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis and testing procedures, ensure battery is fully charged, as a low battery may result in incorrect diagnosis.
CAUTION: When performing the following diagnosis and testing procedures, it may be necessary to disconnect electrical connector from Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) if instructed. Ensure ignition is off before disconnecting electrical connector at CC ECU. The CC ECU is located in different locations and contains an 18-pin electrical connector. SeeFigure . DO NOT  apply test equipment directly to CC ECU terminals or CC ECU may be damaged. Connect voltmeter or ohmmeter probes from wire harness side of connector only.
