Cruise Control Main Switch

  1. Disconnect electrical connector at cruise control main switch. Note electrical connector terminal identification. SeeFig 1 . Connect jumper wire between positive battery terminal and terminal No. 3. Connect jumper wire between negative battery terminal and terminal No. 5.
  2. Ensure cruise control main switch is in OFF position. Connect voltmeter positive lead to terminal No. 1 and negative lead to terminal No. 5. Turn cruise control main switch to ON position.
  3. Voltmeter should indicate 10-14 volts. Turn cruise control main switch to OFF position. Voltmeter should indicate no voltage. Remove test equipment. Replace cruise control main switch if defective.
