DTC P0112 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Low: Input
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Select IAT sensor parameter on scan tool. If display reads higher than 282°F, go to next step. If display reading is near ambient temperature, check for an intermittent problem. See appropriate TESTS W/O CODES article.
- Disconnect IAT sensor harness connector. If display reading drops to -40°F or less, replace IAT sensor. If display reading is not as specified, check Red/Blue wire for short to Gray/Yellow wire or ground. Repair as necessary. If wire is okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
