Removal & Installation (Grand Vitara & Vitara)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Remove PCM cover, located below right side of instrument panel. Disconnect PCM connectors. Remove PCM mounting bracket retaining screws. Remove PCM with mounting bracket. Separate PCM from mounting bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
