Cold Temperature

If the transaxle was overhauled or fluid was drained for oil pan (and or valve body) service, refill fluid after assembling and check its level according to following procedure. See steps  1 -  4 under NORMAL TEMPERATURE. With engine running at idle, check fluid level on oil level gauge. Fluid level should be between FULL COLD and LOW COLD on oil level gauge. If level is below LOW COLD, add recommended fluid to bring the fluid level between LOW COLD and FULL COLD.

NOTE: The above COLD level check is strictly temporary. Therefore as a final check to perform HOT level check, see NORMAL TEMPERATURE.
