Remote Keyless Entry Operation

NOTE: Power door locks can not be operated using RKE transmitter if ignition switch is in ON or START position, if any door is open or if any door or liftgate (if equipped) are not completely closed. Ensure all doors and liftgate (if equipped) are closed and remain closed during this procedure.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove keys from ignition switch. Ensure all doors are closed. Depress RKE transmitter LOCK button one time and verify all doors are locked. Depress UNLOCK button one time and ensure only driver's door is unlocked. Depress UNLOCK button 2 times in 5 seconds and ensure all doors are unlocked.
  2. Using RKE transmitter, depress LOCK button to lock all doors. Wait 30 seconds, depress RKE transmitter UNLOCK button 2 times within 5 seconds to unlock all doors. Do not open any vehicle door. Monitor all power door locks for 30-45 seconds and ensure all door locks automatically lock.
