SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE FOR PROGRAMMING KEYLESS TRANSMITTERS

CONDITION:
The 2004 Verona Service Manual has the incorrect keyless entry system programming procedure.

CORRECTION:
Follow the programming procedure as given in this service bulletin.

1. With the ignition key off connect the Tech 2 Scan Tool to the vehicle.

2. Turn on the Scan Tool.

3. From the Suzuki Start Screen press ENTER.

4. Select FO: DIAGNOSTICS from the menu and press ENTER.

5. Select NEW then press ENTER.

6. Select NORTH AMERICAN then press ENTER.

7. Select Verona then press ENTER at the Body screen press ENTER.

8. Select ISU BODY then press ENTER.

9. Select 2004 then press ENTER.

10. Select MISC TEST then press ENTER.

11. Select KEYLESS TRANSMITTER REGISTRATION then press ENTER.

12. Follow the on-screen instructions displayed on the Scan TOOL*.

* The Verona is capable of programming 2 keys.
