EVAP Leak Check Pressure Sensor Circuit Check

  1. Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC with ignition switch OFF.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position, select "Data LIST" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
  3. Check that displayed barometric pressure is specified value referring to "EVAP LEAK CHECK PRESSURE SENSOR CHECK " under EVAP LEAK CHECK MODULE INSPECTION (VEHICLE WITH ORVR SYSTEM) 

    If barometric pressure is within specified value, EVAP leak check pressure sensor and its circuit are in good condition.

    If barometric pressure is out of specification, check EVAP leak check pressure sensor, wire harness and connections.
