HVAC Control Module Removal and Installation

NOTE:

The auto A/C panel may be damaged if the dial knobs (4) are pushed during removal and installation of the module.

Do not push the dial knobs while removing and installing the module.

Removal

1) Release tabs (1) and claws (2) of auto A/C panel (3).

NOTE:
If you try to release the upper side of the auto A/C panel first, the tabs of the panel may break.

When removing the auto A/C panel, release the lower side of the panel first.

2) Disconnect connector and remove auto A/C panel.





3) Remove audio unit. Service and Repair
4) Remove screws (1), and then disconnect connector from HVAC control module (2).
5) Remove HVAC control module from steering support member.






Installation

Reverse removal procedure.
