DIAGNOSTICS PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "ESP® System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to ESP® SYSTEM CHECK .
2  DTC check 
  1. Perform DTC CHECK .

Is there DTC(s) other than C1039, C1071 and C1096? 		 Go to APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING . Substitute a known-good ESP® control module and recheck DTC, see ESP® HYDRAULIC UNIT/CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
