EVAP Leak Detection Pump Circuit Check

  1. With ignition mode of keyless push start system in "OFF", connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC.
  2. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
  3. Select "Active Test" mode on SUZUKI scan tool.
  4. Use SUZUKI can tool to check that operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is heard only when pump is switched to "Operate".

    If operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is heard, EVAP leak detection pump and its circuit are in good condition.

    If operating sound of EVAP leak detection pump is not heard, check EVAP leak detection pump, wire harness and connections.
