Diagnosis Mode Setting Procedure

Diagnosis mode is set if the following steps are completed within 10 seconds after pushing the engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON" with the vehicle stopped.

  1. Press memory set switch 4 times, and then hold the switch pressed until diagnosis mode is established in Step  4).
  2. Give a short, rearward push on reclining switch and then give a short, forward push on slide/lifter/tilt switch.
  3. Perform Step  2) again.
  4. Buzzer in power seat control module will beep to notify that diagnosis mode has been established. Release memory set switch.

After removing causes of faults, error codes can be cleared by canceling the diagnosis mode. To cancel the diagnosis mode, push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system from "ON" to "OFF".

    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to cancel diagnosis mode inadvertently, or all stored error codes are cleared.
    • If error codes are cleared while associated fault conditions still remain, the same error codes will be recorded again.
    • Error codes for sensor pulse errors are recorded when corresponding electric motors are continuously locked.
    • In situation where some error code is recorded while input signals from switches are being monitored, the error code will be indicated in priority to the input signal indication.
