Module - Restraint Control (Heat Pump) - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Open all the doors and lower the windows.
    NOTE: If the vehicle is being powered down, latch the rear doors to prevent accidental closure.
  2. Put the vehicle in Service Mode. See SERVICE MODE .
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Remove the center console assembly from the vehicle. See CENTER CONSOLE (2.0) - REMOVE AND INSTALL .
    WARNING: Make sure LV is disconnected before continuing to the next step.
  5. Release the locking tabs, release the connector levers, and disconnect the restraint control module connectors (x2).

  6. Remove and discard the nuts (x3) that attach the restraint control module to the vehicle, and then remove the module from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
