Steering Rack - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the steering rack to the front subframe assembly.

    167 N.m (123.2 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 21 mm socket

  2. Install the front subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
  3. Perform the firmware redeploy procedure. See Firmware Reinstall - Toolbox .
  4. Refer to the Alignment Requirement tables to determine if an alignment check (AC) or full adjustment (FA) is necessary. See Alignment Requirement - Suspension .
