Module - ECU - Occupant Classification System (OCS) - Front Passenger - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the RH doors and lower the RH windows.
  2. Move the front passenger seat forward.
  3. Remove the front passenger seat. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
  4. Place the front passenger seat on a protected surface with the underside accessible.
  5. Release the LH seat back elastic strap from the seat frame.

  6. Slide the locking tab toward the left of the connector, and then release the OCS sensor mat electrical connector downward to disconnect it from the front passenger seat OCS ECU module.

  7. Slide the locking tab toward the left of the connector, and then release the airbag electrical connector downward to disconnect it from the front passenger seat OCS ECU module.

  8. Press the locking tabs (x2), and then slide the front passenger seat OCS ECU module upward to remove it from the seat bracket.
