Module - Body Controller - BCM (1st Generation) (RHD) - Remove And Replace: Removal

- Move the air suspension ECU, main harness and associated connectors away for access to the BCM connections, Module - Air Suspension - ECU (RHD) (Remove And Install)
.NOTE: Do not disconnect and remove the air suspension ECU from the vehicle.
- Remove the RH center console closeout extension, Assembly - Closeout Extension - LH - Center Console (Remove And Replace) .
- Unclip the dead pedal finisher from the dead pedal.
- Release the clips (x4) that attach the RH instrument panel side cover to the instrument panel, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the instrument panel side cover.
- Remove the RH middle A-pillar trim.
- Remove the clips (x4) that attach the RH lower A-pillar trim to the vehicle.NOTE: The number of clips securing the trim may vary depending on the vehicle production date. Replace any damaged or missing clips prior to re-installing sill trim
- Remove the RH footwell cover, refer to: Assembly - Cover - Footwell - Passenger's (Remove And Replace) .
- Carefully fold back the front section of the carpet at the RH footwell.
- Remove the nuts (x2) (torque 5 N.m) that attach the dead pedal to the bulkhead.
- Remove the bolts (x2) (torque 5 N.m) that attach the BCM to the bulkhead.
- Release the connectors (x9) from the BCM.
- Remove the BCM bracket together with the BCM.
- Remove the screws (x4) (torque 1.8 N.m) that attach the BCM to the BCM bracket.
- Remove the BCM from the BCM bracket.
