Ground Strap - Front Drive Unit - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the front drive unit ground strap to the LH casting, and then install the bolt that attaches the strap to the casting.

    15 N.m (11.1 ft-lbs)

  2. Install the captive bolt that attaches the ground strap to the front drive unit.

    5.5 N.m (4.1 ft-lbs)

  3. Fasten the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the front drive unit LV harness bracket.

  4. Install the wiper module. See Wiper Module (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Install the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Connect LV Power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  7. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install) .
  8. Hold the LH and RH upper B-pillar buttons in the "Close" position to manually calibrate the LH and RH rear doors.
