Module - Battery Controller - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power - Disconnect And Connect .
- Remove the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Remove the LH shock tower cover. See Cover - Shock Tower - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Remove the LH wiper arm. See Wiper Arm - LH - Remove And Replace .
- Repeat step 3 through step 5 on the RH side of the vehicle.
- Remove the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen - Remove And Replace .
- Remove the bolts and nut that attach the LH V-brace to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- 4 in extension
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the bolt that attaches the battery controller module ground cable to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- External Torx E10 5-Lobe
- Use a clip prytool to release the clip that attaches the harness to the battery controller module.
- Remove the bolt and nut that attach the battery controller module to the vehicle and tilt the controller for access.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- 6 in extension
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Use a plastic trim tool to disconnect the electrical connectors (x5) from the battery controller module.
- Use a clip prytool to release the clip that attaches the harness to the battery controller module.
- Remove the battery controller module from the vehicle.
