Module - Body Controller - Security - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the LH and RH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Remove the LH and RH Instrument Panel end caps. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  3. Remove the LH and RH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the LH and RH sun visor. See Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Power off the vehicle using the center display. Touch Controls  >Safety & Security  > Power Off 
  6. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Disconnect the LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect And Connect) .
  8. Remove the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace) .
    NOTE: Rotate mirror to release

  9. Remove the upper quad camera cover. See Quad Camera Cover - Upper (Remove and Replace) .
  10. Release the clips (x5) that attach the headliner to the front of the vehicle.

  11. Disconnect the electrical harness from the security controller.

  12. Remove the bolt that attaches the security controller to the vehicle.
    NOTE: 1x bolt, T30
    NOTE: The bolt is captive inside controller housing and cannot be removed.

  13. Release the clip and guide pin that attach the security controller to the vehicle, and then remove the security controller from the vehicle.
