Steering Column And Wheel - Steering Column Control Module Kostal - Remove And Replace: Install

Install the bolt that attaches the steering column control module to the steering column.
2.4 N.m (1.8 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless 1/4 in Dr Ratchet
- Torx T20 socket

Install the retaining clip from the steering column control module connector, and then connect the electrical harness to the steering column control module connector.
CAUTION: Check for broken clip pieces on the connector, and remove if present.

Install the lower shroud of the steering wheel. See DASH PANEL - SHROUD, LOWER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Install the upper shroud of steering column. See DASH PANEL - SHROUD, UPPER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Install the steering wheel. See STEERING COLUMN AND WHEEL - STEERING WHEEL - PUR LEATHER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Install the driver airbag. See FRONT AIR BAGS - DRIVER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Connect the LV battery power. See LV Battery - Li-Ion - Disconnect And Connect .
Verify that the network connectivity is available by checking the "3G" "4G" "LTE" or Wifi icon at the upper right corner of the touchscreen.
Enable Service Mode. See SERVICE MODE .
Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See SOFTWARE REINSTALL - TOUCHSCREEN .
Disable Service Mode. See SERVICE MODE .
Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
