Throttle Position Sensor
- Loosen 2 Throttle Position (TP) sensor retaining screws. Insert a thickness gauge between throttle stop screw and throttle. With ignition off and electrical connector disconnected, connect ohmmeter between terminals "IDL" and "E1" or "E2". See Figure.

- Gradually turn TP sensor counterclockwise until ohmmeter needle deflects. Secure TP sensor retaining screws. Using a thickness gauge, recheck continuity between terminals "IDL" and "E1" or "E2".
