Disconnect electrical connector from park/neutral switch at transmission or transaxle. Note terminal identification. See Fig 1 and Fig 2. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity at specified terminals with gearshift in proper positions. See PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS table. Replace switch if defective.
