Air Control Valve
- Remove air control valve. The air control valve is located on bracket, near radiator. See Figure. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between electrical terminals on air control valve and resistance is 30-34 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Replace air control valve if no continuity exists or resistance is not within specification.
- Ensure no continuity exists between each electrical terminal and body of air control valve. Replace air control valve if continuity exists between electrical terminal and body of air control valve.
- Apply air pressure to port "A". Ensure no air flows from ports "B" and "C". Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1. Apply battery voltage and ground to electrical terminals on air control valve.
- Apply air pressure to port "A". Ensure air flows from ports "B" and "C". Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1. Replace air control valve if defective. Reinstall ACV.
