Door Courtesy Switch

Remove door courtesy switch from pillar post at rear of the door. See Figure. Using ohmmeter, check that continuity exists between electrical terminal and body of door courtesy switch with switch pin released to ON position and no continuity exists with switch pin depressed to OFF position. See Fig 1. Replace door courtesy switch if defective.
