Power Window Control System - Diagnostics: Pre-Check

  1. Power Window Operation Mode 
    NOTE: Initial condition that the customizing function by hand-held tester is not chosen is shown.

    Standard:

  2. Power Window Fail-Safe Function 
    1. When an abnormality is detected in the limit switch and pulse sensor for operating the jam protection function (DTC: B1231/31, B1232/32), the following power window operations will be prohibited for fail-safe.

      Standard:

      NOTE: In case of normal limit switch, prohibition (fail-safe function) will be cancelled by fully opening the door glass that is fully closed by manual operation, then AUTO operation will be possible.
  3. Check Hand-Held Tester 
    1. ECU Data Monitor:
      1. Using the hand-held tester, make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the ECU data monitor.

      Standard:

      NOTE: * : "CAUTION" is indicated when something is detected being caught in the window.
    2. Active Test:
      1. Using the hand-held tester, make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the active test.

      Standard:

    3. Customizing Function (reference):
      1. Using the hand-held tester, select the following controls on power window.

      Standard: 

      Door ECU (Driver's Side)
