Column Shift Assembly: Removal

Remove steering column assembly. See step 12 under REMOVAL .
Remove parking lock cable assembly.
1. Remove the screw and cable No. 2.

2. Using a torx socket wrench, remove the 2 screws and cable No. 1.
3. Remove the spring.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and parking lock cable housing.
Remove shift lever.
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Using a torx socket wrench, remove the torx screw and shift lever.
3. Remove the upper No. 2 steering column cover.
Remove shift lever housing.
Using a torx socket wrench, remove the 3 torx screws and shift lever housing.
